Peggy came to the Humane Society in desperate need of help. She was pregnant and brought to us after having problems delivering her puppies, some of which had passed away before being born. Peggy almost lost her life due to being septic. She stayed overnight in the hospital and was a brand new dog when she came back! She is hesitant around people at first, most likely from living so long as a stray. Once she knows you won’t hurt her, she cuddles up next to you and is your pal for the long haul. Peggy is so sweet and she deserves to have a great life. She is heartworm positive so her treatment will be coordinated with us, but she is spayed, micorchipped, and up-to-date on her vaccines. Peggy’s adoption fee is only $75…but this weekend all adoption fees are half off in honor of Valentine’s Day! Stop by Friday, Saturday and Sunday, to adopt at 50% off!
