Freeman Arthur
Freeman Arthur was born in Memphis, TN and raised in the small town of Ripley located just over 50 miles north from there. Freeman fell in love with country music at a very early age. His father introduced him to the legends of the genre such as George Jones, Hank Williams, Conway Twitty, and countless of others. When Freeman was nine years old he began to take up the piano, years later he developed the “slip-note” style of playing where one note slides effortlessly to the next to emulate the sound of a pedal steel guitar.
