KIX 106 Assistant – Step by Step Guide

Step 1:  Open your Alexa App

Open your Alexa app on your smartphone, or if you don’t have the Alexa app yet, download it by clicking the link below:

Step 2: Find the KIX Assistant Skill
Go to the skills section of the Alexa app and search for KIX 106 Assistant.

At the Alexa App Home Page, tap on the ‘Menu’ icon at the top.

Tap on the ‘Skills & Games’ option in the menu

Search for the “KIX Assistant” skill

Step 3: Enable the KIX Assistant Skill

Tap on the KIX 106 Assistant skill and check to see if the button displays ‘Enable’ or ‘Disable Skill’.  If the button is labeled ‘Enable’, tap it to enable the skill.  If the button is labeled ‘Disable Skill’, you have already enabled the skill.

Step 4. Request the Justin Moore concert ticket contest

After enabling the skill, simply make your first request to KIX Assistant to qualify for the Justin Moore concert tickets at Mid-South Fair.  Either talk into your smart speaker (Echo device) or use your Alexa app by clicking the blue circle at the bottom of the home page:

Say, “Alexa, ask KIX Assistant to send me information about the Justin Moore Ticket Giveaway.”

Alexa will ask you to go through two steps to link your smartphone to the KIX Assistant, so you can receive information you request directly to your smartphone.  NOTE:  This is an entirely opt-in process.  You can always ‘Disable Skill’ to remove your account and linked phone number.  We only use your phone number to send you a text message for information you requested.

Once you finish linking your smartphone to KIX Assistant, the Justin Moore contest will be sent to you.  You will receive the text message with a link to the contest details.  Click the link to review the contest details.
