St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway 2020 – Winner

21st Annual Memphis
ST. JUDE DREAM HOME GIVEAWAY

Lucky Memphis resident is named winner of 2020 St. Jude Dream Home® Giveaway

Memphis, TN (June 29, 2020) – St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital® today announced that Memphis resident LaQuita McClelland is the winner of the 2020 Memphis St. Jude Dream Home® Giveaway. Raising more than $455 million for the patients and families of St. Jude, the St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway program is celebrating its 30th anniversary nationwide. Lucky winner resident, LaQuita McClelland, is among many others in the Memphis market who purchased a ticket to support the lifesaving mission of St. Jude: Finding cures. Saving children.®
“I’ve bought a ticket for the past 6 years and winning the home feels like hitting the jackpot! Winning the home is about more than getting an amazing home. Regardless of the prizes, you’ve got to support the kids of St. Jude. You do this to make sure they get the treatment they need and their families get the support they need, because you would want the same for your family,” said LaQuita McClelland.
Located in Kensington Manor, Southern Serenity Homes constructed the house estimated at 4,000 square feet and an estimated value of $500,000. The house has four bedrooms, four bathrooms, outdoor living area and kitchen.

The St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway has become one of the largest single-event fundraisers for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital nationwide. This is the 21st house built in this market, which has raised $22,717,100. To date, 530 houses have been given away and the program has raised more than $455 million for St. Jude. Because a majority of St. Jude funding comes from individual contributors through programs like this, St. Jude has the freedom to focus on what matters most – saving kids regardless of their financial situation.
All proceeds will help ensure that families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food – because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
