On February 20, 2026, Bangers Pickleball will open its doors at 6787 Snowden Lane in Southaven. The custom-designed 22,000 square foot facility was specifically developed to be the Mid-South’s first venue to house sports, dining, and event space under one roof.
Located in the heart of Snowden District, the facility was founded to unite a growing community of pickleball enthusiasts, along with their friends and families. The premier venue offers four indoor and six outdoor professional-grade pickleball courts, a full-service restaurant, three bars, private event spaces, firepits, cabanas, and cornhole.
Owner Mary Ezell wanted to build something that covered both entertainment and sports, stating, “we traveled to research several concepts across the country, studied what worked, and what didn’t. Pickleball’s popularity really stood out to us. With it being such an accessible and social game, it has been the fastest growing sport in America.”
The construction of Bangers Pickleball completes the third phase of Top of the Sipp, SMJ Enterprise’s 16-acre development that brings over 100,000 square feet of retail, restaurant, entertainment, and recreation space to the rapidly growing Snowden District of Southaven. The facility and site were designed by Fisher Arnold and Renaissance Group, with Metro Construction as the general contractor.
SMJ Enterprise’s goal is to create and maintain spaces in which businesses and communities can thrive. After observing her father run a successful business with Scott Gill by his side, Ezell was inspired to form SMJ with him and her husband Josh. “Our goal was to build a place everyone could enjoy, from playing pickleball to just coming to hang out, eat great food, and soak in the atmosphere.
